Born September 1, 1973, in Tokyo and raised in Saitama, Koba is known for his unique blend of comedy, sci-fi, and fantasy. He launched his feature film career with Tsumugi’s Radio (2019) and has since continued to craft distinctive films that have received numerous awards at festivals both domestically and internationally. Koba is the founder of the Inazuma Film Group and serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Nagaoka Institute of Design. His upcoming film, Time Machine Girl, is set for release in 2025.
1973年9月1日、東京都生まれ、埼玉県育ち。SFやファンタジーの要素をユーモアと融合させた作品が特徴的で、長編映画『つむぎのラジオ』（2019年）で劇場デビューを果たし、国内外の映画祭で数多くの賞を受賞。映画制作団体「イナズマ社」を主宰し、長岡造形大学の非常勤講師としても活動。次回作『タイムマシンガール』は2025年公開予定。
