Synopsis
The Manga Master is an informative biopic about KITAZAWA Rakuten, the first artist to establish manga as a profession. Kitazawa, the "father of modern manga," pursued innovative artistic methods and, together with his apprentices, popularized manga as a new form of expression that began with the pioneering Meiji era and progressed through the turbulent Showa era.
