Meet EMOTO Tasuku:

Game Review: Skytar Lacked Storytelling

Born on December 16, 1986 in Tokyo, Japan, Emoto passed the audition for the role of the main character in the film A Boy’s Summer in 1945 in 2001 for which he won the 77th Kinema Junpo Best Ten New Actor Award and the 13th Japan Film Critics Award Newcomer Award. He grew up in a family of actors, and with his father's unique presence, he has been active on stage, in movies, and in TV dramas. In recent years, he won the Japan Eland'or award for Best Newcomer in 2016, the 92nd Kinema Junpo Best Ten Award for Best Actor, and Japan Film Critics Award for Best Actor for Dynamite Graffiti in 2019. In 2020, he won the 43rd Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for The Great War of Archimedes. In this film, he passionately plays the legendary charismatic editor-in-chief Suei Akira with exquisite annoyance in the vivid culture of the Showa era.
