Introducing Our New Team Member: Yukako

Welcome, Yukako!

We are excited to welcome Yukako Wrenn to the CJFC team! Yukako has been a key contributor as our festival photographer, capturing special moments with her artistic eye. Now, she’s taking on even more responsibility, joining us as a programmer and social media marketer. Her deep passion for film and dedication to the festival align perfectly with our mission. We’re thrilled to have her on board as we look forward to another great year of Japanese cinema!

Nice to meet you! My name is Yukako, and I’m excited to join CJFC as a programmer starting this year. I’ve always been a fan of CJFC, which brings together a carefully curated selection of rare and exceptional Japanese films that you can’t see anywhere else.

In this one-of-a-kind festival, filled with the passion of its two founders, I hope to help our audience discover unexpected surprises, meaningful encounters, and unforgettable films!

本年より、レン山中庸華子さんがCJFCチームに加わることになり、とても嬉しく思っています！これまで庸華子さんは、フェスティバルのスチル担当として、芸術的な視点で特別な瞬間を数多く切り取り、貢献してくださいました。これからはプログラミングの一員として、またSNSマーケターとしてチームに参加します。映画への深い情熱とフェスティバルへの献身は、私たちのミッションとも完全に一致しています。庸華子さんと一緒に、今年も素晴らしい日本映画の年になることを楽しみにしています！

初めまして！今年からプログラマーで参加することになった庸華子です。毎年、他では観られない、珠玉の日本映画を集め、上映しているCJFCのファンの一人でもあります。

創設者お二人の想いが詰まった、この唯一無二の日本映画祭で、観客の皆さんが、思いがけない驚きや発見、心に残る映画に出合えるお手伝いができたらと思っています！
