Born in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture in 2001, Japan. After enrolling in Osaka University of Arts, he ventured into the world of independent films as a cinematographer. In 2022, his debut directorial work, "Cafune," undertook a full-location shoot in Kumano City, Mie Prefecture, garnering high praise from both Professor SASAKIBARA Yasushi, a faculty member at the university, and director MIHARA Mitsuhiro, as well as receiving acclaim within the department. Furthermore, in March 2023, he gained attention as the youngest director nominated in the Indie Forum section of the 18th Osaka Asian Film Festival (OAFF2023). Currently, he is currently working on his graduation project, a feature film titled "The Best Day of My Life."

杵村春希監督(初長編)

2001年生まれ、22歳。兵庫県西宮市出身。大阪芸術大学入学後、撮影監督として数々の自主映画に携わる。2022年、自身初となる監督作品の「カフネ」は三重県熊野市でのオールロケを敢行し、同大学教員の佐々木原保志撮影監督や三原光尋監督はじめ学科内から高い評価を受ける。また、2023年3月に開催された第18回大阪アジアン映画祭(OAFF2023)インディ・フォーラム部門にて最年少監督としてノミネートされ話題を呼んだ。現在、同大学に在学し卒業制作となる長編映画「人生最高の日」を製作している。
