CJFC 2024 Opening Night Report!
The 2024 CJFC kicked off in style at the Music Box Theatre with the U.S. premiere of House of Sayuri by Shiraishi Koji. This thrilling and humorous horror film set the tone for an exciting festival.
After the screening, guests enjoyed a Sayuri sake tasting, adding a unique cultural experience to the evening. Thank you to Hakutsuru for making this possible and to the Music Box Theatre for hosting a fantastic start to our festival.
It was a memorable night celebrating Japanese cinema, and we’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for this special evening!
