Dir. SAKAGAMI Kaori

With an MA in Economics and Social Development from the University of Pittsburgh, Sakagami is an independent documentary filmmaker, chair of the non-profit art organization, out of frame, and visiting Associate Professor at Hitotsubashi University. Prior to Prison Circle, she directed and produced the theatrically-released documentary Lifers: Reaching for Life beyond the Walls in 2004 and Talk Back Out Loud in 2014.
