Synopsis
A sequel to the 2015 documentary Alone in Fukushima, which followed Matsumura Naoto, a man who, in the aftermath of the East Japan Great Earthquake, stayed behind to care for abandoned animals in his deserted town, Alone Again in Fukushima depicts Matsumura's efforts to resist the pressures forcing him to leave his hometown and the nuclear power plant that he helped build. Humanistic and heartfelt, the film is an intimate portrayal of a man trying to live a quiet and unassuming life.
