<founders' statements is here>
First and foremost, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone at JASC and all members of the community on the occasion of securing this wonderful permanent home.
Since its founding in 1946, JASC has played an invaluable role and made significant contributions to the Japanese American community for nearly 80 years. We wish to express our deep appreciation and offer our warmest congratulations on this remarkable milestone.
As the first and only Japanese film festival in the Midwest, it is deeply meaningful for us to join hands with JASC—a respected local institution with a long history—to host a film screening event that brings together Japanese American communities and generations, including children, here in Chicago, IL.
In closing, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for JASC’s continued growth and for the chance to deepen our relationship in the years to come. Please accept these words as our humble greeting from the co-founders.
