The Osaka Asian Film Festival, held annually in March, embraces the theme of "From Osaka to Japan, and Beyond Asia!" It introduces the allure of Asian cinema through a diverse range of programs, including the competition section featuring the latest Asian films, special focus sections, indie forum sections, and various other featured programs and sections. Being able to watch the latest films from various Asian countries, many of which are premiering in Japan for the first time, has attracted a large number of film enthusiasts to the Osaka Asian Film Festival. In its 18th edition this year, the festival has provided a platform for interaction between guests and audiences while fostering the development of filmmaking talent in the Kansai region.
